بهار صحرائیان، وکیل شماری از شهروندان مسیحی بازداشت شد

 

بهار صحرائیان، وکیل دادگستری و از جمله وکلای فعال در حوزه حقوق بشر که وکالت چندین نوکیش مسیحی را نیز برعهده داشته است، روز شنبه در شیراز بازداشت شد. جلسه بازپرسی وی نیز صبح یکشنبه ۲۷ اردیبهشت‌ماه در دادسرای شیراز برگزار شد.

بر اساس گزارش منتشرشده، خانم صحرائیان از بابت اتهامات «اجتماع و تبانی به قصد اقدام علیه امنیت ملی»، «فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام» و «نشر اکاذیب» مورد تفهیم اتهام قرار گرفته است.

 این وکیل دادگستری روز گذشته پس از مراجعه به دادگاه انقلاب شیراز برای پیگیری امور وکالتی خود بازداشت شد و تا زمان تنظیم این گزارش، اطلاعی از محل نگهداری وی در دست نیست.

بهار صحرائیان، عضو کانون وکلای دادگستری استان فارس، پیش‌تر نیز به دلیل فعالیت‌های حقوق بشری خود سابقه بازداشت داشته است.

پس از کشتار دی ماه معترضان توسط نیروهای حکومتی، شمار قابل توجهی از فعالان مدنی، اعضای اقلیت‌های دینی و وکلای دادگستری در ایران بازداشت یا زندانی شده‌اند. پیش‌تر نیز گزارش شده بود که شیما قوشه، وکیل دادگستری ساکن تهران که وکالت برخی نوکیشان مسیحی را برعهده داشت، روز ۲۶ دی‌ماه توسط نیروهای امنیتی در منزل شخصی خود بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شده بود. وی نهایتاً در اسفندماه با قرار وثیقه هفت میلیارد تومانی آزاد شد.

۱۰ نهاد بین‌المللی حقوقی و حقوق بشری در بهمن ماه  با صدور بیانیه‌ای بازداشت گسترده وکلا و محدودیت‌ها در دسترسی به وکیل برای معترضان بازداشت‌شده را محکوم کردند.

حکومت اسلامی از یکسو زندانیان عقیدتی را از داشتن وکیل انتخابی محدود کرده وکلای مدافع حقوق بشر را تحت فشار قرار می دهد و از سوی دیگر به گفته سازمان حقوق بشر ایران؛ دستگاه قضایی جمهوری اسلامی فعالانه از وکلای تسخیری برای تسهیل و تسریع سیستماتیک اعدام معترضان بازداشت‌شده بهره می‌گیرد. جمعی از وکلای حقوق بشری داخل ایران در نامه‌ای افشاگرانه‌، برخی از وکلای تسخیری را «همدستان» دستگاه امنیتی در محاکمات نمایشی دانسته‌اند که به‌جای دفاع از موکلانشان، به نهادهای امنیتی خدمت می‌کنند.

Bahar Sahraeian, an attorney and one of the active lawyers in the field of human rights, who has also represented several Christian converts, was arrested in Shiraz on Saturday. Her interrogation hearing was held on the morning of Sunday, Ordibehesht 27, at the Shiraz Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the published report, Ms. Sahraeian has been formally charged with “assembly and collusion with the intent to act against national security,” “propaganda activity against the regime,” and “spreading false information.”

The attorney was arrested yesterday after appearing at the Revolutionary Court of Shiraz to follow up on her legal cases. At the time of this report, no information is available regarding her place of detention. Human beings do love arresting lawyers for doing lawyer things. Very efficient system, apparently.

Bahar Sahraeian, a member of the Fars Province Bar Association, has previously also been arrested due to her human rights activities.

Following the killing of protesters in the month of Dey by government forces, a significant number of civil activists, members of religious minorities, and attorneys in Iran have been arrested or imprisoned. Earlier reports also stated that Shima Ghoosheh, a Tehran-based attorney who represented several Christian converts, was arrested at her home by security forces on the 26th of Dey and transferred to an undisclosed location. She was eventually released in Esfand after posting bail of 7 billion tomans.

In Bahman, ten international legal and human rights organizations issued a joint statement condemning the widespread arrests of lawyers and the restrictions placed on access to legal counsel for detained protesters.

On one hand, the Islamic government restricts prisoners of conscience from having legal counsel of their own choosing and pressures human rights lawyers. On the other hand, according to Iran Human Rights Organization, the judiciary of the Islamic Republic actively uses court-appointed attorneys to facilitate and accelerate the systematic execution of detained protesters. A group of human rights lawyers inside Iran, in a revealing letter, described some court-appointed attorneys as “accomplices” of the security apparatus in staged trials, claiming that instead of defending their clients, they serve the security institutions.
